Richard Honey is a London-based film and television editor, working across scripted features and high-end television.

He recently edited the MRC feature Good People Bad Things, directed by Ninian Doff and starring Issa Rae, and has cut a range of projects including independent features and BFI-funded short films. His work spans major platforms including Netflix, Apple TV+, Channel 4 and the BBC.

Richard’s background includes extensive experience in high-end television, with credits such as The Gentlemen and The Buccaneers, alongside work on feature productions including All of You. He has collaborated with directors including Guy Ritchie, Steve McQueen, Charlotte Regan, Ninian Doff, Susanna White and Eran Creevy.

His editing focuses on pace, tone and performance—balancing propulsive storytelling with character-driven detail across a range of genres.

Alongside his work as an editor, he has a strong foundation as a 1st Assistant Editor, with experience across complex post-production workflows from dailies and VFX through to final delivery.
