NEWS ALERT - Good Behaviour, nominated for Best Editing at the 2026 Kino London Short Film Festival.
Richard Honey is a London-based editor working across feature films, high-end television, commercials and music videos. His work is defined by cinematic storytelling, strong performances and a distinctive sense of pace and tone.
Most recently, Richard edited the MRC feature Good People Bad Things, directed by Ninian Doff and starring Issa Rae. His editorial work also includes independent features and BFI-funded short films, alongside projects for Netflix, Apple TV+, Channel 4 and the BBC.
His television credits include The Gentlemen and The Buccaneers, while feature work includes All of You. Throughout his career he has collaborated with directors including Guy Ritchie, Steve McQueen, Charlotte Regan, Ninian Doff, Susanna White and Eran Creevy.
Alongside his narrative work, Richard has edited commercials, branded films and music videos for clients and artists including Sony, Charlotte Tilbury, Hyundai, Will Young and Hak Baker, bringing the same emphasis on story, rhythm and performance to short-form work.
Richard has also built a strong body of work in short film, including The Country, Daddy Daze and Good Behaviour, with his work on Good Behaviour receiving a Best Editing nomination at the 2026 Kino London Short Film Festival.
Alongside his work as an editor, Richard has extensive experience as a 1st Assistant Editor, giving him a deep understanding of every stage of post-production—from dailies and VFX through to final delivery.
